EASY PEASY DELICIOUS DESSERT



Connie served this dessert at our Mah Jongg game gathering last weekend. She said she found the recipe on the Pioneer Woman site. I’m sharing it because it was so very good and easy!


Perhaps you’d like to keep this recipe handy for a quick treat with a cup of coffee with some of your family and/or friends. You’ll be glad you did.


INGREDIENTS:

1 box white cake mix 1 can cherry pie filling 1 can crushed pineapple (with juice) 1 and ½ sticks cubed butter


Instructions:

Spray 9X13 pan with vegetable spray (or grease bottom and sides) Dump cherry pie filling into the middle of the pan Dump pineapple on top of the cherry pie filling STIR Pour dry cake mix all over top of the cherry/pineapple mixture Place cubed butter all around top of cake mixture

Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 - 45 minutes (or until nice and browned).

Service with a dab of whipped cream or ice cream.
