Easiest Cinnamon Roll Recipe ever!
My good friend, Debbie Armontrout shared the following recipe several weeks back. I tried it yesterday. It IS the quickest, easiest cinnamon roll recipe that I have EVER used! I served them with some good friends yesterday and Gary complimented me on the 'delicious rolls'.
Just a few words about Debbie, I worked with her at the Treasury Department and had a front row to her humor and quick wit. I told her many times she should be part of the team to write comedy TV scripts. Anyway, she never took my advice but I assure you, those who enjoy her company totally enjoy that humor and quick wit and now we can enjoy her recipe!
INGREDIENTS:
10 Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls (two refrigerated tubes/cans)
1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup heavy whipping cream
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Lightly spray a 9X13 baking pan/dish with cooking spray or grease bottom with butter Open tube/cans using directions on the label Arrange the 10 rolls (5 in each tube/can) in baking pan/dish as follows: 4 rolls down the middle; 3 rolls on each side Mix the 1 cup brown sugar with 1 cup heavy cream and mix well (It will look like melted ice cream) Bake at 350 degrees for 32-36 minutes (do not overbake). Allow to cool 2 to 5 minutes
(OPTIONAL: Spread the icing that is included in the tube/can over the rolls) (To make half, use one tube/can of rolls, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup heavy cream and bake in a prepared 8"X8" baking dish/pan)
Now, do you agree that this is the easiest EVER recipe for cinnamon rolls?
